Waterman Consultancy Inc. (WCI) is a business development company focusing on business transformation and strategic alignment, using emerging technology to accomplish organisational goals. Our emphasis is on the advancement of business start-ups and business development projects by incorporating change management principles to promote project success and organisational sustainability. We cater to micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) within Barbados and across the Caribbean region.
Our ‘Plan, Develop, Implement’ framework integrates tools, systems and training to achieve our client’s desired outcome. We build solutions that align processes and workflows to organisational initiatives, whilst partnering with business leaders and their teams to deliver results that complement their unique culture.
Toshanna Waterman is the Managing Director and Lead Consultant at WCI, with extensive experience in resource mobilisation, strategic planning, and operational policy development. She holds a Bachelor’s in Accounting, an MBA, and is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) through the Society of Management Accountants of Nova Scotia, Canada.
Her career began in accounting, supporting companies across consulting, healthcare, tourism, real estate, and retail. Today, she works closely with entrepreneurs and stakeholders to implement effective strategies that drive sustainable growth.
Toshanna is also a passionate facilitator and business mentor. She has delivered workshops to over 100 students islandwide and served on the Financial Literacy Committee of CPA Barbados. As a volunteer with BYBT, she coaches young innovators and adult entrepreneurs, including a winning team in her first year as mentor.

Kim Haynes is a Development Researcher with extensive experience in social and economic development at both organisational and individual levels. She has worked with local, regional, and international organisations, applying strong research, analysis, and reporting skills to produce accessible, audience-tailored outputs such as policy briefs, reports, and training materials.
Her expertise includes operational strategy development, donor agreements, partner assessments, research quality control, ToR formulation, and the management of consultant contracts. Kim holds a BSc in Economics and an MSc in Economic Development Policy from the University of the West Indies, alongside professional training in Monitoring and Evaluation, Project Management, and Data for Decision-Making.
Passionate about knowledge transfer, she is committed to empowering vulnerable groups by building confidence and capacity to help them achieve their goals.
